- 2002: IGR becomes the journal for the AIGS and sponsored by the AIGS. Robert N. Weinreb joins as editor
- 2007: IGR starts searchable literature database; all abstracts online
- 2007: Robert Weinreb becomes Chief Editor; Makoto Araie, Jack Cioffi, Ted Garway Heath, Roger Hitchings, Jeff Liebmann and Remo Susanna become Associate Editors
