The analysis of hyperosmotic glucose combined with ferosemide to treat shallow anterior chamber after glaucoma filtering surgery

AIM: To invest the effect and mechanism about hyperosmotic glucose combined with furosemide to treat shallow anterior chamber after glaucoma filtering surgery. METHODS: Twenty-nine eyes with shallow anterior chamber among 155 eyes glaucoma filtering surgery were treated with hyperosmotic glucose combined with furosemide, and the recovery of the anterior chamber was observed. RESULTS: Eighteen eyes with I degree shallow anterior chamber recovered completely, and 8 eyes among 9 eyes with II degree shallow anterior chamber recovered. CONCLUSION: Hyperosmotic glucose combined with furosemide is an effective method to treat shallow anterior chamber after glaucoma filtering surgery.
