Factors of optic nerve regeneration

As the representation of central nervous system, a deep insight has been acquired in elucidating the mechanism of injury and regeneration of the optic nerve recently. Many factors affect the process of optic nerve regeneration after the injury. It is related to the changes of its circumstance and/or actions of all kinds of factors, which include both promoting factors and inhibitor factors. These known factors are reviewed in this paper.
